Agartala, Jan 10: Tripura Gramin Bank has been conferred the prestigious SKOCH Award 2025 under the “Innovative Practices” category, marking a major recognition of its contribution to inclusive and customer-focused banking.

The award was presented at the 105th SKOCH Summit, themed “Governing Viksit Bharat”, held on January 10 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Chairman Satyendra Singh and Manager (Marketing) Jeet Bhattacharya received the honour on behalf of the bank.

Recognised as India’s highest independent civilian honour in governance and development, the SKOCH Award follows a rigorous, multi-stage evaluation process. Tripura Gramin Bank successfully cleared all assessment levels, reflecting its emphasis on innovation, technology-driven services and financial inclusion.

The recognition highlights the bank’s role in strengthening access to banking services in rural and underserved areas of Tripura, while supporting broader socio-economic development.
