Agartala, June 8: 44 Raima Valley MLA Nandita Debbarma Reang on Sunday held a review meeting with officials of the Public Works Department (PWD) to assess the progress of ongoing development works and discuss upcoming infrastructure projects in the constituency.
According to information shared by the MLA, the meeting was attended by TTAADC MDC Khotrojoy Reang and the Executive Engineer of PWD. Discussions focused primarily on improving road connectivity in remote and underserved areas of Raima Valley.
During the meeting, emphasis was laid on accelerating the construction and upgrading of key road corridors, including the long-awaited Hatimatha Bazar–Jo Para Road. Connectivity-related projects in Raishyabari, Jagabandhu and Bhagirath areas also came under review.
The MLA highlighted that improved road infrastructure is essential for enhancing access to education, healthcare, markets and other basic services, particularly in rural regions. The meeting also stressed the need for timely implementation and completion of development projects to benefit local residents.
Officials and public representatives reportedly reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening transportation networks and improving infrastructure facilities across the constituency.
