Agartala, May 22: Members of Tripura Swrwngnai Buthu (TSB) visited Pritam Tripura, a Class XI student undergoing treatment for Osteosarcoma (Bone Cancer) at A.B.V. Regional Cancer Centre, Agartala, and extended support to his family.
During the visit, TSB members met Pritam and his family members at the hospital and handed over the collected support raised through a donation campaign initiated by the organization. The members also expressed solidarity and encouraged the family to remain strong during the difficult period.
According to family sources, Pritam recently underwent a major surgery in which his cancer-affected leg had to be removed as part of the treatment process. Even after the operation, he continues to undergo further medical treatment and observation.
After learning about the family’s financial hardship, TSB launched a humanitarian donation drive, receiving support from students, social workers, and well-wishers from different areas.
TSB stated that the organization will continue to stand beside Pritam and his family and appealed to society to keep supporting and praying for his recovery.
