Agartala, August 6:
The hearing in the Public Interest Litigations (PILs) challenging the alleged irregularities in the TTAADC recruitment process was held before the Tripura High Court on Thursday.

Speaking to the media after the hearing, Birdhan Jamatia, the petitioner in the case, and Samir Tripura, President of Tiprasa Sikla Bodol (TSB), informed that the High Court has adjourned the matter and fixed August 13, 2026, as the next date of hearing.

They stated that the legal battle against the alleged irregularities in the recruitment process would continue and reiterated their appeal to the youth and unemployed job aspirants across Tripura to support the ongoing court case and the movement demanding transparent and merit-based recruitment.

The PILs challenge the recruitment process over allegations that appointments were made without a transparent and competitive selection process. The matter remains pending before the High Court.

The Court has not made any findings on the merits of the allegations, and the respondents will have the opportunity to present their case during the proceedings.
