Agartala, June 9: A review meeting on the progress of infrastructure and welfare projects being implemented in areas under the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) was held at Khumulwng on Monday.
The meeting was attended by Tripura Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma, TTAADC Chief Executive Member Runiel Debbarma, Executive Member Chandra Kumar Jamatia and officials from various departments.
According to information shared following the meeting, discussions focused on the status of ongoing development projects, quality control measures and the timely completion of works. Officials reviewed the implementation of various infrastructure and welfare initiatives being carried out in different parts of the ADC areas.
The meeting also examined challenges in project execution and stressed the need for coordination among departments to ensure effective implementation. Progress reports on several ongoing schemes were presented during the review.
Officials discussed measures to improve monitoring mechanisms and ensure that development works are completed within stipulated timelines. The meeting further reviewed initiatives aimed at strengthening infrastructure and public services in tribal-dominated regions of the state.
The review comes amid ongoing efforts by the state government and TTAADC to accelerate development activities in areas under the autonomous district council.
